And one with my brown box sellier Kelly.

Here is a picture taken from December 2009. This is the 32 courchevel Kelly in rouge vif that is in my avatar picture.

I am close to your height and both the 28 and 32 look good on me. If you don't carry a lot each day, a 28 in retourne style can hold enough. I often use this size as my daily bag. A 32 holds more, especially in retourne. If you only want one Kelly and want to use it both day and night, I think you will find a 28 more versatile. To me, especially on petite women, a 32 looks more like a day bag. Both sizes can be dressed up and down easily though. This is what I really like about the Kelly.
There are some old threads discussing the merits of a Kelly 28 vs. 32. If you run some searches you might find them.
Also a sellier Kelly is really beautiful with nice sharp lines. Many people like a 28 sellier for a more dressy look. I personally find a 28 sellier doesn't hold enough and it's a little difficult to get my hands in and out for a daily bag. I love the look of a 32 sellier and have one Kelly in this size/style, but I feel the corners of this bag more and I don't like it for a daily bag.

Hi, this is my very first post. Been a lurker for a quite long time. Great thread. You're all fabulous with your Kelly(s).
I would like to try and get my first Hermes bag this year but I'm still not decided whether to get a Kelly or a Birkin. This thread makes me more inclined to Kelly. But still, not sure 28 or 32. I'm petite (155 cm). Is there anyone who could help me with some modeling pictures for petites with 28 and/or 32 Kelly? I would like to be able to wear it as much as possible, day and night, dressing up and down. Thanks very much in advance.

I'm with you there, Tamarind. Though I'd love owning a Kelly 32, I find it a little too big for my petite frame. I know myself. I'll be tempted to fill it to the brim and I've already have back and shoulder problems. Although I love the look for a Sellier (had one and sold it), I keep finding myself bumping the corners against things.

My Gold clemence Kelly 28 is my most used bag. Sadly, it's with the artisan getting cleaned and I'm missing it dreadfully.

birkingal, my gold Togo Kelly 28 in retourne is my most used too, right up there with the same thing in chocolate.

Great minds think alike, Tamarind. :p I think colors like gold, etoupe, chocolate and marron fonce are dark enough to show less dirt but versatile enough to match most colors as well as adding a splash of color. KWIM?

I've tried and tried to get used to a Sellier. Bought two and sold both off. Perhaps I'm just clumsy but I just keep scraping the corners against everything!

Kimpossible, I'm about 157cm. Here's an old photo of me carrying my Kelly 28. Hope this helps with your decision making. All the best!

Tamarind, thank you very much for the valuable info and Birkingal thank you so much for the modeling picture. We're almost the same height so it's really great to have your picture. I was afraid 28 would be too small but now I feel that size would suit my posture very well.
Some more questions; do you use the retourne night and as much as day out? I really like the look of sellier, do you have any modeling picture with your sellier? Do you really feel a big difference in term of volume and easy access to your bag between 28 sellier and 28 retourne?

I use the retourne at night, too. I find a 28 retourne really does go everywhere and do everything. It's great on airplanes, too. I just squish it right next to my thigh or put it on my lap one side down and it doesn't take too much room.
I don't have experience using a 28 sellier. My seller is a 32. I do feel the corners. It holds about what my 28 retourne does. The 28 retourne is easier to access (the sellier just feels harder) than even the 32 sellier. I don't use my 32 sellier daily because I find it harder to put it somewhere, like in restaurants when there is no extra seat for my bag, or on a crowded train. If I am driving it's much less an issue.
I love the look of a sellier too, but I prefer the proportion of a 32 sellier to a 28 sellier. This probably put me in a distinct minority on tpf, as I recall many members like 32 retourne and 28 sellier. There is something very beautiful about a 32 sellier to me, and when I use mine I stare at it a lot in admiration. It just looks to me as a Kelly is supposed to look exactly. But I don't like the corners, and in a 32 you feel it more.
