Heheheh, I also had a St. Jacques in yellow, loved the purple alcantra lining so much. I felt like it held up really well, b/c I would set it on the ground sometimes (eeek, I know) and after awhile it was dirty with minor scratches but I cleaned it with leather cleaner and it wasn't at all noticeable. The side finishes on mine did crack though, but I was really rough with that bag. Wish that I hadn't sold it
