I have the Shirley. I have only used it once, on my wedding day. It's really pretty but, not practical at all. The only thing I could fit in it was my cell (Treo), lip gloss and room key.

mas2388 - you will NOT believe what bag I was looking side by side with the pochette marelle.

I'm never a fan of MC (sorry MC lovers!! :cry:) and still don't own a piece in MC. but...the shirley looks goregous! :love: I particularly like the long strap!

you know what? i used to think that the strap was at a funny length, neither long nor short enough. but then as soon as i tried it on at the store, i fell in love with it :love::love:. it seemed as though only the shirley could pull that off!

yeux - you're right. to be honest w/ you, i'm not too hot about long straps in general, I like the straps to be pochette length (w/o the extender). But the shape of the shirley makes it OKAY and elegant. I think it looks great as well being used as a HAND-bag.

thanks :shame:! it has a zip across the top, but then you have to open the S-lock on the strap first before you can unzip it. i usually either leave it unzipped or unlocked. and yes i think a cles will fit, because i can fit my Dior 4-key case in it with no problem.

i've never liked the black Multicolore. it looks too flurescent somehow. the white softens the bright colors, and makes them look so much more elegant. or maybe that's just me.

i can't fit much into mine
i like to take my whole house with menwhen i go out maybe that's my problem
it fits my gloss, cles/pmp, mobile, housekeys.
barely even fits my car keys

this could have been exactly my post hehe...

and yes I loved the shirley too but then I really wanted to own a mono piece first, that's why I chose the marelle...

gorgeous as evening clutches I must say, all of them!
