Completely agree! Very hard to follow. Never posted in the forum for this reason.
I am also a top reviewer... used to review quite a bit, but have slowed down over the past year or so. Fantastic resource for product info and pictures. I also used to swap regularly a couple years back (think I have around 175 swaps). It was a lot of fun and I definitely have gotten some gems from swapping, but I got burnt out on dealing with flaky swappers and shipping costs are too high.
Overall, I love makeup alley. Between the reviews and swapping, it has probably saved me hundreds.

I am a frequent poster on the forums. I understand the frustration some feel regarding slang, inside jokes etc...
The one thing I do personally like to do is answer any queries I feel I could help on, as everyone was new to board at one time (in fact my current username there is only 1yr old, and many don't know of the change)

I really don't like the format of the forum there, not only posting but just finding info so I prefer to come here or YouTube. I always check the reviews before I buy something though and I also have done some reviews but would like to do more - kind of a giving back to a place that helps me out.
