I only use MUA for product reviews. The forums have always confused me, and the one or two times I posted something, it just got lost in the shuffle.

I didn't even know MUA had forums lol. I only use it for the reviews & I have also swapped for some brand new limited edition items I've missed out on.

i'm on there a decent amount. i like that it's so fast-paced, but i do get tired of the cliques and especially the obsequiousness. it's too much.

From my limited experience, it seems like if you're not one of the regulars you're pretty much ignored. And the board moves so fast that it's easy to see how posts would get lost in the shuffle......in a matter of minutes, a post will go to the bottom of the page and in hours it will be many pages down.

The fragrance, skincare and hair boards don't move like the makeup thread. I have found them very helpful in the past. I think the MU board moves so fast b/c so many threads are off topic conversations that could easily moved to private messages. With the amount of room "special posters" take up with all of their back & forth nonsense, they could generate their own board!

I'm a top reviewer, and I always use the reviews when I'm thinking about trying something new. I have also done some swapping on there, but not much. I've never used or even read the forums section.

a lot of that can be attributed to all the side conversations and inside jokes and hugs and smooches and whatever it is they're doing. the review section is a great resource, and sometimes, the posters can be helpful. i have a love/hate relationship with mua. they're a little frustrating, yet entertaining.

I frequent the site to read, and post, reviews. I use to swap quite often, but even that has changed. I would get crazy requests like someone wanting to trade ELF HD powder for a NARS blush or something like that......totally crazy.

I'm a top reviewer on there, I used to swap new LE items but not anymore, just too much swaplifting, older members taking advantage of the newer members, now I just stick to reading and writing reviews.
