Do you ever get a "blackening" color to the handle of your Patina????

The magic eraser works well on vachetta. I don't have a Speedy yet (a few more weeks and I will! :D yay!) but I have used it on other bags. It took out a few spots of red wine and made the patina on the handles more even. Just be gentle. Hope this works for you!

I've had my Speedy 30 since 1997 or '98. I haven't had either problem.

I love my Speedy.

even though your hands are clean...dont hold it by the handle in you hands, use the arm or just put the whole bag under your arm. I think they handles get dark from hand use. (how sick are we all....we spend so much money for bags that we have to be so carful with):oh: :oh: I'm the sickest of you all because I have been using my speedy with a plasitc bag rolled up in it,,incase we have a rain downpour!!! at least I can protect it.

wacky crazybaglady!!!

I just used Magic Eraser to rescue a practically ruined leather Coach strap from a vintage Court Bag. The strap was nearly black from oil and dirt and you couldn't tell what color it was supposed to be (British Tan). Now it matches the same deep shade of the bag like it supposed to!

Just make sure, if you use Magic Eraser on leather, to moisturize the heck out of it with your leather treatment of choice, because it gets really dry from the cleaning chemicals.

Good luck!
