Do you ever feel like your bags aren't 'good enough' to post about or reveal?

A big 'Thank you' to all of you who replied! I will check out both threads, actually I did check one, even posted on it so thank you for the reminder. I will definitely check out the 'What bag are you wearing' thread.
I just feel funny about posting mine because they are pre-loved and probably almost 10 years old, but still in great shape. My collection would be great if it was still 2007!

I think you would be very surprised. Lots of people say bags were better made then and are sorry they parted with their x, y or z bag. I'm sure may of your bags would be as much admired today as they were when they were new. BTW, I have vintage, new-er and plain ol' old, love them all and am very happy when others feel the same way.

Agree with everyone!

Your collection is great because it's your collection. And it may have some awesome pieces and some clunkers. LOL! Most of us have all kinds of bags. The good, the bad and the ugly. But we love 'em anyway.

Re: age of bags. I bought the most expensive bag in my collection last year but it was made in 2010. It's expensive because it's a sought after, wonderfully made bag. The year it was made isn't relevant. I've also seen some true vintage bags that are 25+ years old that I'd LOOOOOOVE to own.

And, I've seen some pure junk that is new.

So the year of manufacture doesn't matter. Very few people turn over all their bags in a year or two or three.

Some of my well loved bags are from 2005-2006 years, too, and i was hunting them and waiting for a chance to buy, obviously, pre-loved, got one BV for less than they sell a key ring in the boutique. Who cares?
as long as it's YOUR style and YOU wear it beautifully, it's fine.
Even if you have 5, or 3, or just 1 bag, YOU make it look different by wearing it with different outfits, dressing up, or down, accessorizing it and rocking it! Post it!

So glad I found this thread. I feel guilty that I don't like LV or Chanel. I buy what makes me feel good and my small collection of bags does that. It is about your own style and if it makes you feel good when you walk out of the house, then that's what it is about. I have some lovely bags but it is very rare to see those brands rate a mention in the forums.

I think a lot of the bags are beautiful, however they are not something I would use as I like casual and slouchy. Oh almost forgot, I can't really afford designer bags unless they are older bags. Luckily the bags were so well made back then that they are still in great condition today. What are some of the bags you have?

I like both slouchy and structured so I have a mixture of both. I live in Australia so Country Road and Oroton have been a favourite. Recently I have discovered Lancel and Nina Ricci and I love the style and feel of the leather
