Do you carry your bag on the left or right side?

I am left handed and on the rare occasions I do put my handbag on my shoulder it's on the right one. Most of the time I carry my bag on my arm or in my hand...the right one. Putting a heavy handbag on one shoulder is VERY BAD for one's back and mine won't tolerate even a light one for very long. Things just haven't been the same since I broke my back, but if the only thing I cannot do is wear high heels or carry a shoulder bag, then I've got nothing to complain about. I can and do carry a backpack or knapsack on occasion without pain, but the weight is evenly distributed along my back.

For me the right-one, and often the zip remain in the back, and i cannot control it from the thieves...

It's more easy put the right hand inside and bring anything.

Left shoulder. It just seems easier to use my right hand to get things out. I also carry a handheld bag on the left side.

Right shoulder for me and you are right about the zipper being awkward. I guess that's why I prefer bags with no zippers....I just learned something - Thanks!
