Do people who buy high end brands like Chanel ever wear lower end brands as well?

I wear Burberry, and LV on a regular basis even though I have more expensive bags. They are good for throwing around and I don't have to worry about babying them. However, I have one small Tory Burch crossbody bag (that's the absolute cheapest bag I have) and I love it! So I think it all comes down to the style. I would never wear COACH, MK, or Longchamp. Those are complete garbage to me.

Yep! It all depends on what I like and what the situation calls for. Sometimes cheaper brands have patterns and designs that I love at the moment, but won't want beyond a year or two, so I won't spend designer money on those. I have a tote bag from Cracker Barrel of all places and I love it because it can hold what I need, is good in our terrible weather, and it has a cute fox on it! I think it all boils down to: buy what you love and makes you happy. Don't let anybody shame you for what you like, whether they say it's too cheap or if they say it's ridiculous to spend "that much" on a bag.

Wow only on TPF will you ever hear someone say they "only" have 70 premium designer bags, or carry LV when they don't want to use their "high-end" bags! :p Never mind the "garbage" MKs. :confused1: We sure are a privileged crowd!

To answer your question, OP, yes I will wear my contemporary bags, but admittedly much less so than my premium ones. My reason simply being that I love how my premium bags make me feel. Since I live in a big city, I also don't frequently go to places where my usual bags are inappropriate. I've sold or given some KS, MK, coach, and Tory Burch away to friends who would give them more love, but kept 2-3 coach and Dooney bags for sentimental and practical purposes. I will say though that I probably wouldn't buy any contemporary bags new anymore.
