The items in the department stores are considered FP / retail merchandise. Coach sometimes has items that are only for department stores and they occasion they have a bag or item that is only for a specific store. These items are not outlet items and I've not heard of them ending up in an outlet store. Once the stuff is sent to department stores, it then belongs to them and they wouldn't send it back to Coach if it didn't sell.....though Coach actually does have a few of their retail stores inside of a department store. I have no idea if they would carry the box program merchandise or not.
I think either they saved some of the merchandise for this event in overseas markets or perhaps it was over produced and there was stuff left over after shipping it to the department store.

I bought 2 luggage tags and a tee shirt. The shirts and dolls are going fast.

I grabbed red & brown wristlets, the yellow wallet, and the brown bag charm.
I bought everything I wanted, I just hope I get it all. Coach does not fill orders on the first come first served basis. It wouldn't be the first time I ordered EARLY, didn't get my items, but others who ordered much later than me did. I bought the Mickey doll fob, the brown wristlet, the black coin purse, the pin set, and 3 of the leather charms.....and that was the allowed limit. I got my order confirmation immediately too.
I only bought the Mickey bag charm. I wanted the coin cases too but decided to skip as funds are limited. Plus, I think I might rather put $ towards space items. Items were more than I anticipated. I kept playing with the cart to see what would make it free shipping. After putting in 2 coins cases the $200 minimum popped up. Boy it has been awhile since I ordered from FOS.
I would like one of the saddle ears bags, but the colors are really similar to what I already have with the Peanuts line. I already have red and cream totes, and a yellow small hobo. As far as the saddle color goes, I have a handful of LV bags that cover that brown family. The only one I'm missing is black. Maybe if there's a black one still left on Friday I'll go for that one. Otherwise I'm going to sit out this one.
