Ebay seems to be pretty quick- generally speaking if it is authentic and priced well, it will sell.

Althought I haven't purchased Hermes from Portero, I have purchased many other luxury goods and know that they are a completely reputable seller.

Just my personal opinion and from my own experience... eboutique is a lovely lady and I would have no hesitation in purchasing from her.

On the other hand, I wouldn't touch Portero with a bargepole ... their goods are not always authenticated by a recognised sorce and they have some disclaimer in their T&C's from memory, their shipping outside the US is extortionate and they incorrectly mark the items so you end up paying huge customs (even though the fault was theirs) - my personal experience was not good and their customer service is minus zero!

Portero does not reveal all the problems / defects in their bags. Like Flossy, I do not recommend them. jmho...

^^wOW!! I never bought a bag from them, just one gold necklace and a Chanel chain belt. Fortunately, I didn't have a problem. Your info certainly colors the picture!

Thanks for your opinions Eire, Flossy & Hermeslady. I thought that Portero's inability to provide me with more photos of the Gold 35 was strange if not "fishy." I am always happy to get some specific word from you experts.

What determines whether an Ebay seller should go on the "not recommended" list? Based on what FlossyFigaro and hermeslady said I think that Portero should be considered for the list.

IMO, if the seller has bad customer service, mislead the customer, scams, or gives customer the run-around, then they should be on the not-recommended list.
