hey everybody...new to the forum and wanted to ask the experts a question...LOVE hermes!!! anyways, was shopping with the hubby in new york and came across a store called "lederer" on madison ave that have the most "real" knock-off version of the kelly and birkin...have any of you ladies heard of this store or brand? my hubby wanted to get me one but i told him i would wait for the real thing...
thanks for any input and this site is the best!!!

 I also want to add to the praise for mightykismet. I purchased my birkin from her and she was lovely to deal with; fast with phone calls and e-mails, warm, friendly and truly the bag of my dreams (It's my avatar.) Also, the first time I took it into an Hermes boutique it was totally fawned over by the staff and I was offered my beautiful Kelly because I had my birkin.

Hi all-- has anyone had any experience with the ebay seller pprkirk? I did a search, and it seems a couple of people in the past have had good dealings with her, but I just wanted to see if I could get more feedback as she's not on the reputable sellers list.

Thumbs up on this seller....I bought a Picotin from her and she is very accurate in her descriptions and a very nice person.

I totally agree with Susi. ppkirk is a total doll. She is not a reseller per se - she only sells stuff from her own collection that she no longer uses. I have bought from and sold to her. A+ all the way!

Hi everybody,

I'm new to this forum but have loved Hermes for a long time. I have a question about Ebay resellers. I have seen lots of praise for CDL and Mighty Kismet and Luxury Zurich in these pages. However, their prices seem really, really high. Does anyone know - are these prices negotiable? I wouldn't want to offend them by approaching them asking for a discount, but I thought perhaps this is done, and I just don't know about it. If there's an "etiquette" to it, can somebody please let me know? I would be very grateful to know. Thank you!:smile1:

^^^ I have read about people making offers to these resellers with some success - I would suggest doing your research and then contacting them via email with your question. It is not at all out of line to make the offer - the worst they can do is counter or say 'no.'

On another matter, I purchased an accessory from Pretty_Mia (on the trusted Hermes reseller's list) and while the transaction went smoothly, she has been slow to leave positive feedback for me. I paid instantly and communicated with her throughout the transaction. I am hoping she's out of town or unavailable and will follow up soon - I hate when I spend more than $100 and don't receive positive feedback!!

Thank you, Ms. Twilly. I will definitely take your advice and do my research. This is a really great forum!
