I am currently in Shanghai and was surprised to find that prices at Chanel seem lower compared to the US (perhaps it's because of the strength of the USD since I was converting the prices to USD). Has anyone visited the Dior boutiques here recently? How do the prices of bags (and specifically Diorissimo) compare to prices in the US?

Even the pre vat deduction UK pricing is lower than the US...£2900 is approx $3700. The price in the US is $4100 and that's pre sales tax so add another 5% or more depending on where it's purchased for a total of $4300+.
While in Europe/UK you could deduct an additional $400+ bringing the total to $3300 max.The difference would be a $1000+ easily. That's a big discrepancy.

Not sure which bag you're talking about here, but I did a quick calculation when I got my mini Lady Dior in the UK. They're priced at £2100 here in the UK, HK$25 000 in Hong Kong and US$3100 in the US. Given the lower rate for the GBP at the moment, it worked out to be at least £500 cheaper if I was able to purchase it in the UK. This was not including US sales tax as my friend who I would have been posting it to was in a different state and because didn't have a Dior boutique in their state, I was told by the SA sales tax wouldn't have applied. So if US sales tax was applied, there would be a slightly higher amount saved.

Just an update that I managed to visit the Dior boutique in Shanghai. The mini Diorissimo (solid color) when converted to USD is almost USD $3,800.

Can someone please let me know how much the Lady Dior lambskin medium costs in Germany? I saw that the euro price is 3,200 euro but not sure if there's VAT on top of that which I have to pay. Thanks so much!!!
