I’m visiting my mom and purchased this Dinky a few days ago, so I have not treated it. Also, I have other Dinky bags that I have not treated as well. I have used Leather CPR on my Nomad bags because it helps softens the leather along with use.

Actually, I am not having that problem at all. I experimented by picking it up a lot with my fingers, and it just felt very smooth and slick. Even if a press my fingertips down, I'm not having a print problem.

I bought a colorblock Dinky in beechwood at the Outlet online sale. Only $158, and I think it will be a nice present for my sister-in-law who is coming to town (Boston) next week.

I don't know any other colors, but..there's a good pink one for sale at The Resl Real, and it's been marked down to $87.50 (good condition, comes with dust bag).

Thanks! It looks great using the zoom feature but reading the condition it mentions surface scratches. I've seen some of these with scratches that look like from being stored so wonder long term how it would look. I liked the look of them originally and then someone pointed out fingerprints would be an issue especially if you used hand cream so I took it off my list. I'd have to get one in perfect condition and then if it were scratched after I'd be OK with it. Let me know how your's wears!

I just bought one in Pink, should be here tomorrow. I'm planning to do customization with tons of Pins!
That should distract me from worrying about the scratches or finger prints.............and I also like the look with pins

I've been wondering how the customization works - can you bring a pre-purchased item to the store to request the pins? I've only done some as I've ordered online, but the patterns are limited - I'd love to add some customization to items I already own.

Great idea! I'm also curious how to get the pins added as the other comment. No stores near me do customization.
