Love it and the strap looks great. I believe they released these a couple years ago....I think it was part of the same collection my patchwork Dinky is from. They did quite a few patchwork 24s then that I’m sad I missed out on! Enjoy!

Just ordered the Cherries dinky in chalk from the Nordstrom website for 50 percent off. It was the last one, probably a return. I have the clutch and the small trifold wallet. Super excited to get it!

Love this bag!! Flax looks great on there if you want the extra color. Otherwise I would say go with a black strap.
You know, I tried a black strap first and ironically it does not go well at all. The darker areas on the top and bottom corners are not black, they're actually navy. When you put the black strap on, it definitely shows that they are navy. The only real black areas are in some of the more detailed patches. In my opinion, not enough black to pull the black off well. Maybe I'll take a pic tomorrow with the black strap and post it. Right now, I'm happy with the flax. The only other color that I obviously would go would be orange, but I don't have a strap to match with that. Once again, I wish Coach would sell straps (regular, not the statement thicker ones) individually. They'd make a killing!
Ah gotcha. I wish they sold thinner straps too. Thick straps like that don’t work well with smaller bags for me.
I ordered the Kelly green clutch and It came with a black copper chain strap. Did you try calling to see if they were available separately? I can't remember if they were, but it's possible there's one in JAX.

Yes, Jax does have things not on the site. Usually low inventory or past season is available, but not online.
Or tell your husband you're buying for the chain, but are selling the clutch lol. You could list on eBay or similar since those clutches don't normally have the chain, no buyer will miss it
and you get your chain.I think the gunmetal one would be fine with your black copper dinky though.

I saw black copper a bit ago and noticed only gold in the last few weeks. I don't need one but keep wanting to order one....in case I need one! The price is right so no need to purchase a bag with one. I'd try JAX because there are often things still available or I sometimes call a larger store like one in NYC and can usually find what I need.
Received my Cherries dinky from Nordstrom.com for 50 percent off. It is brand new and not a return which is the good news but I thought it would come with the leather chalk strap with glitter edge paint and not the chain and leather strap. I already have other dinkies and they all have the same strap. While beautiful, the chain strap is uncomfortable. Oh well, still pleased to get my hands on this beautiful dinky!
The quilted Dinky in both black and the pinkish color are on sale on the Lord and Taylor website for $292. I think the sale might be today only though.
