I had the black Dinky and the lock started to turn colors. Coach refunded my money, but I really miss the bag. Has anyone else had an issue with the hardware turning colors?

Was it the smaller Dinky you had or the larger one with the chain? I haven't had any issues with the hardware on mine, but I don't wear them often either.
