It's really annoying when you see someone with 3 or 4 of the EXACT same bag on each arm. There is no way they are buying for their own use. :censor:
Exactly! Even I don't buy backups!

My Dillards story: Store opened at 10:00, I got there at 10:10 and the parking lot was jammed. It was probably closer to 10:30 by the time I got inside. The handbag dept was a war zone LOL. The tables were practically empty. Purse stuffing all over the place. I think there was one little crossbody half on, half off the table with its poor strap in a twisted nightmare. I don't think it was primarily re-sellers though. Of course, they may have been in and gone too by the time I got inside. But there were lots and lots of ladies, most like me, buying for themselves or daughters. The Coach table was empty, MK ditto. Dooneys must have been somewhere but I never saw any signage for them. Tons of regular priced bags going nowhere that day. And lo and behold, don't I spot the one and only bag I wanted, the only reason I came to the store, down on the bottom shelf of one of the cases smack dab in the middle of the rest of the regular priced merchandise. I jumped on that baby and she was mine. I walked around with her on my arm for about an hour, checking out the jewelry (bought some). Shoes were a bigger nightmare than handbags, I walked by, took one look and got the heck out of there. And I didn't even bother going upstairs to Housewares. I remember too well that hot mess from last year with the Christmas decs. I think I was there about an hour and happily went home with my Coach Madison Carlyle black leather shoulder bag. And that's my New Year's story..........

You buy such a hugh variety when you go "saleing" I don't know how you would carry out an extra anything.
My stores never have more than 2 of anything and the only time I get to Dillards is in AZ. Those SA's hide stuff and don't bring out alot of anything. If I don't get a great price on the internet its that or nothing.

Wow, ladies, those are some stories. No deal is worth the hassle, the people up close and personal as my body floats trough the masses. Just couldnt do it. I usually go a day after the big sale and just pick if there is something I might like. Dooney is not really popular here, so there are always a couple of bags on clearance, waiting
I skipped the sale. Went there day or two after and got some silk house robes, sexy baby dolls and PJs.
