Did you always love purses?

No, I carried a Kate Spade clutch around forever not wanting a bulky purse to remember. Got a Coach hobo bag for xmas and never really liked it or Coach. I have always wanted a Louis Vuitton, so I got a Speedy 30 and wore it for awhile. Then I realized..EVERYBODY has LV's. Then I saw it...It being a MK Hamilton Tote. I fell in love instantly and I've been wearing purses since SUMMER! I know. So sad. I love the Hamilton because I never see it when I'm out in public. I hate having what everybody else has. I get compliments all the time and when I get the pink one, the compliments will start pouring in. HAHAHA!

Yes. :) it has to match my lifestyle, my mood, and outfit at the moment. I also have a thing for hat. Too bad it's kinda weird for people around here and we rarely have good selection of hats so most of the time, I'll just go with the bag. :)

OMG! What a cutie! Love the bag too!
I have always loved bags from a very small age. They always made me happy. They still make me happy.
I love your avatar with the kitty and purses!

I wasnt into designer bags growing up. I remember thinking when I was young that LV bags were such an ugly brown and couldnt understand why someone would spend so much money on it! When I was finally in my teens, however, my interest in bags gradually grew. I began purchasing cheap bags from Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, etc. I figured that having a lot of cheap bags was better because I have more to rotate and theyre affordable. But I realized that I lost interest in them pretty quickly and were just piling up and wouldn't use them again. I began taking interest in designer bags, but knew I couldn't afford them.. Yet. Then, a few years ago while working at Payless, I saved up some money to buy myself a Dooney and Bourke bag. It was both my Christmas and birthday present and I was so happy! Its still so special to me since I saved up my own money for it and I dont think Ill ever get rid of it. Then my bf got me a Burberry wallet and a Michael Kors bag. Finally, last year I was able to get myself a Burberry bag. :) Since then, I plan on buying a designer bag once a year. I dont plan on collecting too many, but only a couple that I know Ill get my moneys worth from.

Oh yes!!!! I was 10 years old and I already knew Hermes Kelly and Birkin before Sex and the City made it even more famous. Also, I remember when I was in Junior High, I saw an car ads in a magazine where the woman carried a big clutch, I took out the inside part of my school briefcase and carried it to school. Everyone was laughing at me but I didn't care.

I never cared about bags or brand names. I want value and a cool looking purse and usually found that in Nine West bags, always carrying one bag (in black) until it was beat up. Now at the end of my 30s I feel like having a classy, functional everyday bag that is edgy too. I found everything i like in MZ Wallace. It took me a year to come to terms with the 350+ price tag. Never spending more than $100 on an outlet purchase Coach before that. So here it is one year after my first MZ Walkace purchase and going on my third bag. I found this forum because I have the MZ Wallace bag bug now, bad!

I was such a hippie so no make up, long straight hair, no handbags, I wore t shirts & patched jeans & hiking boots. Never carried a handbag. Think I broke down & bought some cheap crap purse in my late 20's. I only owned one bag at a time & when it got too beat up to use, it angered me to have to cough up $20 for another bag. Seriously, I had no interest AT ALL! In my late 40's, DD & I were in Atlanta shopping & wandered in the LV store & a smart SA educated me. I walked out with a brand new Manhattan PM & .... Well, do I have to say more?

Wasn't interested in big name brands until I was in my 30s.
Me too. l only started caring about well known brands in my very late 20's. Before this I had been heavily into a couple of 'underground' fashion scenes which had almost designer price tags but I didn't get the concept of designer clothes and accessories really. I just never thought that would be me. Now I am rapidly approaching 32 and gradually gaining momentum. ;)

Had no interest until I turned 20 or so. Had random purses from Maurices that were throw away purses and didn't even bother taking them out with me most of the time. I got my first Coach bag as a Christmas present from my boyfriend's parents and ended up buying a couple myself later on. I've sold a couple do the Coach purses now and bought my first LV purse and wallet a couple months ago.

I thought my cousins were crazy spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on handbags back in high school, but now in my 20s i'm pretty much obsessed! It all started in late 2012 when I purchased my first Balenciaga, I saw Vanessa Hudgens wearing hers. My God, it was love at first sight, after that I could never go back!! :p
