Did I make a mistake choosing yellow over rose love?

Yellow gold looks beautiful. Once in a while I got jealous people saying something along the lines of "oh but RG is so modern, you must like oldie styles/ If I were you I would've gotten the rose" etc. but I could care less.
I have red undertone on my hands, and I found rose gold to "melt in" to my skintone vs. YG was more gltzy and "popped out". I chose the YG.
Also, my bracelet is pretty scratched atm and it looks a little less flashy and more like matte/brushed gold.
