Diamond huggies vs diamond hoops

I'll try to post some modeling shots in a bit, but I think mine probably hang down too much for your taste. I think it will be hard to find the right look since people's lobes vary - I think the standard is to leave some room. I'm not crazy about the custom double row personally...

Thanks for your input on the drop - we shall see, because they're on their way to me right now!

Okay ladies, more pics! And... I'm in love!

These are the Costco earrings that LeeMiller linked above... I love how "sturdy" they are, and the drop is fine, probably because I only see the largish stones, no metal!

And here are all the options, side by side profile shot. Costco ones are on the far right.

And here they are compared to the front runner from Blue Nile:

And here they care compared to Blue Nile's garland hoops:

And... I love that LeeMiller said that they haven't "shrunk" on her. These are nicely made, and are very nice bling!!! Thanks for the recommendation!

So the complicating thing is, over the weekend I had convinced myself I didn't need a pair of diamond hoops. After all, I have several pair of diamond studs of different styles (martinis, halo, paisley, etc). And I happily wore my halo diamond studs over the weekend and figured I'm just a stud gal. And now, this! What to do, what to do!?

I like the ones form Costco. I was in the same situation a couple go months ago. I wanted something I could wear everyday and not worry about my hair getting caught. I wants something to hug my earlob, I don't like the gap in the back. So I had a pair custom made and I could not be happier. I wore them non stop then have them a back and now I switch from hoops to studs.

I hope you keep the ones from Costco. They look great on you.

I think you know which one gets my vote! ;) As for your dilemma, well we never *need* any more jewelry I think it is just about finding those pieces that we will love and use often.

Just want to say thank you to mangowife and also LeeMiller for this thread. After a lot of research and shopping around, I also got the Costco earrings and they are outstanding!

Oh cool we are twins! Congrats!
Triplets! Yaaay!

I must admit though - I haven't work mine lately because the clasps seem a bit "loose". I prefer them to snap together tightly... These seem like they could open while on my ear, without me knowing. I feel like one of the earrings has been that way from the beginning, now both are like that. Do you ladies have a similar experience? Is this something that can be corrected?

Hi mangowife! I did see some people mention loose clasps in the Costco reviews, but mine seem fine, although they are brand new. The best thing about Costco is their return policy. That's part of the reason I didn't hesitate on these. If I were you I'd return them and reorder until you get a pair with perfect clasps.
