Hi ladies,

I am asking for your help b/c I'm going to NY in a couple months and am planning on getting this bag. However, I am completely new to this brand, and I'm not sure if it is easy to find in the NYC boutiques? I am specifically looking for the smaller version on oak.

Any insight would be great, thanks!

WHen I asked about it at the madison avenue store a couple of months ago, they told me that the waiting list is 6-9 months. Not sure if the situation has changed since then. You might want to give them a call! :)

just wanted to add that the NYC store on bleecker street called me yesterday to say they have OS oak in stock now, and i know the uptown store has black.

funny, they told me just a week ago that the waiting list would be 4-6 months!

i just updated another thread i had posted- i was looking for OS alexa, but was also told the waiting list was 4-6 months. that was 1 week ago, and they called me last night to say that oak alexa was back in stock!

definitely do call and put your name on a list. i found the SAs at bleecker street more friendly/helpful than madison ave, but you can always get on a list at both just in case. good luck!

^ yeah I gave madison square a call today and they said they had one left! I offered to put a deposit on it OR pay for it in full and pick it up in Dec... but they said they don't do that due to security reasons!!! wtf!!! what security reasons???

Anyway I am contemplating just getting it shipped to Canada. I'll call them back later after my mouth is no longer numb and I'm not slurring my words (i just had dental work done).

Selfriges will take international phone orders and then post the bag to you. VAT will be deducted from the price of the bag as it is being shipped internationally. You may find that you're charged customs fees when it arrives in the US if the value is over the permitted threshold.

ok so i got my dbf to call madison ave yesterday and they told me it's been sold out but the guy that helped him said that YES it could've been prepaid!!!

I called from work and complained that the girl I spoke to refused to do this the day before this... and they said shes probably new!!! ugh!!!

Anyway.. Madison ave placed dbf on waitlist... and he was the 46th in line!!!

So i called Bleecker st.. and they had 2 left!!!!! Needless to say... this time I prepaid for it!! So in Dec I am picking up my Alexa reg size in Oak!!! :p
