Designer Brands You Will Never Buy

I will never understand the appeal of Tory Burch.

And even though Celine is my favorite bag label, I wouldn't ever touch a luggage tote, which is ironic because I sell them for a living. They're just so heavy and bulky, especially the Phantom, which is already too heavy when it's empty.

Lady dior bags (don't get it!)

Anyway, I would've agreed with you guys about LV until recently, even though I see so many people carrying them (many fakes as well that you wouldn't know until the person comes close to you). I bought the neverful and my Sarah wallet, and the quality is impeccable. And there's something about them that's such so elegant and classic. I never understood people "collecting" a lot of the same thing, though.

There have been a few leather coaches I've like recently but, because I don't like having a lot of stuff, I would rather spend the money on another quality bag.

Phantom is way tooooo heavy as a purse, which offsets its roominess. Good for a show, not for duty.

Hmmm. I said Chanel once, and I just bought a gorgeous lambskin woc 4 days ago, so never say never. (I never thought I'd be able to afford one.)

Right now, I'd say Celine. I had a major obsession with Celine bags for a LONG time (especially the nano), and I still think they're gorgeous, but I think I'm getting over it....maybe?!!

Again, never say never!

- Celine
- Balenciaga
- Rebecca Minkoff
- Tory Burch
- Hermes - I would love to buy it but I would never be able to afford it
- Kate Spade

There are other brands I wouldn't buy, but there are just the more popular ones that I am not very fond of.

Coach: not liking the C's

Dooney and Burke: not liking the DB's

Kate Spade: looks a little granny-ish

Alexander Wang: way too heavy and sometimes poorly stitched

Reed Krakoff: looks boxy and heavy.

Celine: overpriced and heavy

Michael Kors: copy of a copy of a copy

LV Multicolored Monogram: don't understand the appeal of this

Juicy Couture: I'm not a teenager

Burberry: makeup line is way better

I bought all my bags because I loved the bags for different reasons, I wouldn't say I would never buy them. Because if they have the styles I like, I'll buy them. But for now, I couldn't see my self buying a Hermes bags (any kind), Dior,Fendi, LV (have 1 in denim, kinda turn off when I saw too many fakes one here in NYC), DB, Coach, Burberry, Gucci (have one but don't looks like a gucci, that's why I like it), MK, Juicy ( I never understand this bag ), and a lot of like clothing and shoes designers who make bag line. I wish they just stick with what they do best, and don't over price the bag when it doesn't have a good quality at all.

In the other hand I love to feel my bags, love the look of worn leather. I want to try Balenciaga, I love Chanel (of it's simplicity). And for some bags you get what you paid for.
