But that's the thing, you cannot know the intent of my statement. I am telling you that it is my opinion that it is pretty sad to feel the need to control food intake as opposed to just enjoying food and eating until satisfied....
But what is satisfied though? Some people naturally like having another plate, and another one...before feeling satisfied. Which could result in chubbiness. I totally understand when people choose to control their portions.

Well if for example you are controlling your portions but yet you still feel hungry after that lunch portion then what are you going to do? Make yourself go hungry because you are controlling your food intake? Eating plate after plate of food would not be feeling satisfied IMO, it would be being greedy, which is why i said there is a happy medium

umm, portion control is one of the best ways to lose weight without making yourself miserable. You can still eat what you like, just in smaller portions. It's a win win. They say you're only suppose to eat till you're like 70% full or something. You're not supposed to keep eating until you're stuffed anyway.

But do we know that Denise Richards still feels hungry after meals?

Anyway, she's got great hair! I believe she did an interview on one of my favorite hair blogs, Curly Nikki, a couple months ago.
She was talking about her hair care line.

Missing the point :btdh:

I guess i don't understand your point. You do realize it would be impossible to lose weight if you just ate until you were full all the time. Not everyone can just eat as much as they want without gaining weight.:confused1: It is NECESSARY for some people to control their food intake if they want to maintain a healthy weight. It's not 'sad', it's what some people have to do.

Isn't portion control a happy medium?!
Gluttony is not, nor is starving....

No, portion control says to me that you only allow yourself a certain amount of food per meal, per day, whatever and no more, it says that you could still be hungry after a certain meal but since you have only alloted a certain amount of food per meal that you will eat no more regardless. Feeling satisfied to me after a meal is not going to the point of being gluttonous or greedy and over-eating, maybe some people are confusing the terms?
And for the last time- it is my opinion that I would find it sad to live that way, what is difficult to comprehend about that? Are we not allowed an opinion now without being attacked just because some people take comments about celebrities lives and mirror it onto themselves and thus become offended???
