Yes, yes they do ;) Morning Hclub :hugs: I was giggling last night, someone with a screenname of Teddy (something) was posting in Authenticate and I was giggling thinking of Teddy shopping for bags for you :flowers:

Mia, I should have known it would be you that would know this! My favorite knight is the one who won't let Arthur and the Crusaders into the castle. "Go away, you silly English kn-igits Your mother was a hamster, your father smelled of elderberry, and I (expletive deleted) in your general direction!"

Oh no - what did I start! :whiteflag:

Actually "Monthy Python and the Holy Grail" is the only Python film I liked! And you know how OCD I am, so I pretty well have the entire script in my head!

You quoted a favourite line of mine too. Then there's

"Bring out yer dead.
..But I'm not dead.
He says he's not dead.
No but he will be.
I'm feeling better."

"It's just a flesh wound!" "I've had worse."

"No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time."

"It's just a rabbit!"

"What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
An African or European swallow?

"He said they've already got one!" (re a Holy Grail)

"You've got two empty halves of coconut and you're banging them together."

"Just a little bit of peril?"

"shrubberies" and the Castle Anthrax

Okay, that's it for now. I shall taunt you no longer with my cinematic taste. Must got get some lunch and then off I go again.

Feel better soon dear Shelby!

I liked it, shelbs - I love the series (maybe because it takes me back to my youth). What did you think?

Other than wanting to escort Betty Draper (oh, wait, I mean Betty Francis) to the edge of a cliff and then pushing her off of it, I liked it. Mad Men is the one show that I will not miss. I will not answer the telephone, I will not waste time on the internet, I will not look away from the television.

Welcome back irish

and MiaT in our family we text movie quotes to one another (yes I know we are weird!)---my ds's have gotten the best of me lately, but Monty Python quotes usually make the rounds at least once a month. Your quotes and shelby are some of our favorites!

Well pugsy, Teddy does love shopping (as there is a direct correlation between the number of people in a store and the number of belly-rubs he'll receive...it's always all about him!), but the lack of opposable thumbs makes typing on the keyboard a bit of a fiasco!

Allaborsa - then we must be related!

Oh my God MiaT... you did NOT just quote that from memory?!?!?! I can't barely recall my name!

Um, yes I did. Too bad I cannot make money from a brain that has a knack for useless trivia!

But dear Shelby started it....just one quote and it's like opening a spam file in my head! (Just ask my family!)

Oh I should add I probably don't have every word quoted exactly...but most would recognize a line or the general idea. There's probably a DVD with subtitles so I could check. But I'll save my pennies for more orange!

MiaT - do not feel alone! Certain words/phrases open up spam files in my head as well. They are usually songs (and I REALLY cannot sing at ALL) or movie dialog. None of which can turn a profit. Useless trivia, Irishlass is thy name.

Thankfully, Monty Python hasn't crept in to my database. :p
