Hi Lily, I'm still in your country, actually I am in Sedona until next Monday, then I'll fly to Madrid.
Yesterday we had our farewell party at school, DD was incredibly happy about coming back home but at the same time very upset at leaving her friends, it's been a wonderful experience for her that she'll never forget. She is now getting used to the idea of having her own bedroom back, meals in a proper dinner room, own bathroom, etc. She will miss the horses and Arizona's natural environment, What a great country you have!

Btw, tomorrow DH and I are celebrating our 22nd anniversary here, it'll be a very special one!

And, it's so diversified that it feels like many different countries rolled into one. I'm glad you've enjoyed it.

Say hi to DD and tell her that she'll just have to invite her friends to Spain for a visit. Safe travels to all of you.

Here's a picture, just for you, Pamella. I think this bracelet is a small, if I were buying one in the store, I'd probably get a medium. But, I wore it all day and I really like it, and I got this one for half the price it would have been in the store:smile1:

It was an incredible steal! My cousin took one look at it and said, can I try that on???

My cousin has a huge drawerful of scarves, but not as many Hermes scarves as I thought she did. But, she's got some classics, including a beautiful pink "Grand Union" that I would have taken home in a second. She was amazed that when she started pulling them out I said, oh, that's Mors a la Connetable, oh, that's Les Perroquets, etc. She said, how do you know these, and I said, I've been studying scarves for a long time, I have wonderful scarfie friends, my SA is a scarf specialist, and I look at eBay EVERY DAY. She has some gorgeous non-Hermes scarves, most of which came from Venice.

She said the remodeling was all done at FSH and then she started talking about Paris and I got all jealous. I explained how badly I want to go to Paris and she said, well, then, let's go!

I had a fun day :yes: and I hope everyone else did, too!

I'm so glad your DD enjoyed her time in Arizona, and it certainly will be a change for her to get back to the
comforts of home - but I'm sure she will adjust very quickly!:p

Thank you my friends for you lovely words, I've been blessed with a wonderful husband, someone who makes me laugh and sigh even after 22 years and 2 children together.

Lily, just let me express my admiration to your country with some simple examples: This morning I went to USPS to send home by mail the shoes I couldn't pack and DD's huge scrapbook... it took me only 10 minutes! a smiling person greeted me good morning, gave a perfect functional box to put 6 pairs of shoes into, perfect adhesive tape, made me the sweetest comments on my country, bided me good stay and safe trip... should I go on?
Yesterday evening I gave my farewell speech to the girls and teachers in DD's school, my spoken English is not very clear (something related to the Spaniards and certain difficulties with phonetics!!! :laugh:) the whole audience (around 200 people) was in respectful silence pending on my words, they clapped and acknowledged my efforts with sincere and exquisite respect... You have a great, great country, God bless you all!

LGA, yes dear! my mom said there is a box from hermes.com waiting for me at her place, but I know there is something more to be revealed tomorrow!
