I have them saved in my photobucket account. I've belonged to various forums over the years and just saved the ones I liked. Those are two of my faves. :D

Off topic - I'm soooo hungry - I didn't eat lunch (durn auditors) and now it's almost dinner. I need to hop on my broom and see what's in lily's fridge for cold supper! I'm sure there's something there that's tasty! DH is travelling until next week, so I'm a bachelorette for a week!

Sweetie, I'm afraid that my frig is desolate, my cupboards are bare, and I'm down to a lonely bottle of red , but you're certainly welcome to come share.

I need to stop for "provisions," both liquid and solid, on the way home from work tonight.

Oh, a bachelorette, huh? What's on the agenda? Maybe I should hop on out there (darn, I bet the auditors are still there, though, aren't they.)

Tillie - gorgeous Kachinas!

I bought the new Vogue at the grocery store, ladies, the ads are fabulous. But, to be fashionable, we're going to have to wear open toed boots with high heels and smoky eye make up. :wtf: Yeah, right....But I keep seeing the same pair of LV pumps with a flat satin bow on the front in Town and Country, Vogue, and Vanity Fair and they're making me weak at the knees.

Well, if you have weak knees, shelbs, you should go for them.

Any shoes that have that kind of effect on an otherwise sensible woman belong in said woman's closet.:D

LOL, well, in TO I use to walk...underground, lol, here I'm stuck in traffic...
There's more cyclists here & they have more attitude... the winters here consist of freezing rain & whiteouts... & I wouldn't know the heat since my boss keeps the AC @ 18C, LMAO. I'm only a little bitter :lolots::roflmfao:

Good night my sweets :hugs:

But, lola dear, all that air conditioning does provide you a great excuse to stock up on cashmere shawls.:graucho:

Morning ladies. :flowers:
TGIF indeed. Started off the morning with a painful conference call & a sore throat :yucky:
I swear, I'm going to be sick until DD goes off to college, right?

So... I am craving a Feux de Ciel....lol. Anyone seen these floating around the boutiques still? Long shot, I know...

hclub - welcome home DD!! You must have missed her so!
shelby - Les Cles in strawberry?? Oh, I need to keep my eyes peeled for that! The blue one looks pretty, but that blue looks bad on me. I'm hoping for more colourways than what's currently on H.com...:wondering

Someone tell be to get back to work...

Hey, lola, I think finding a Feux de Ciel in the boutques would be a real long shot at this point, but you know, I see them come up on eBay frequently. Next time one does, I'll let you know.

This might be another service Crafty sisters can perform for one another. If there's something you just crave like crazy but can't find, post a note, and the rest of the sisterhood can be on the lookout for it and let you know if and where they see it.

Thanks Lily :D
There is one I am watching, but there's a week left on it if this craving lasts. I'd jump on it if it was the violet one...

Good morning tillie! Aren't you a bit late this morning?:p Actually I got up at 7:30, and hit the ground running. I was doing a quick fly by when I said good morning...:p

Good morning Pauilac, hclub, shelby, allab, pursecrazy!

hclub, welcome home to your DD - I know you're thrilled to have her back (despite being a teenager...)!
It's a beautiful day in NY - must get out!

Were you up late studying your scarf?:p My feeling about Kermit Olivier, is that even if you are not wild about one of his designs (I am not a huge fan of one in particular) you have to admire the intricacy of the design. He doesn't slap together a bunch of images. Everything is very well thought out and detailed. I think that is why they can make a wonderful framed piece. Yesssss, GK....that's exactly what I was doing. I had no idea that the word Kachinas went around the center pattern. Then I took pictures of all the corners, and signatures. I think I might just frame this one......

Your scarf is the kind of find that can keep me smiling for days!:yahoo:It could not have happened to a nicer person!:smile1: Me too, and thank you for always saying the sweetest things...
:smooch:

Hi Furbies--have missed you all, but it's been a busy couple of days, which will culminate shortly with Houseguests!

Hclub--Hurrah! Sweet DD almost home!!:yahoo:

Tillie--Loved your pics of Kachinas--so, will you wear it or frame it, or first one and then the other? Does it "work" with your house as well as your wardrobe?

Pauillac and Lola--Lucky bachelorettes....am packing a bag and coming to ask for asylum...!:broom:

TGIF to all: Lily, gracekelly, LGA, Shelby (feel better soon!), Pugs, and pursecrzy --am thinking of you all, but must finish "hostessing" the guest room, guest bath, etc.....

I'm determined to get rid of them durn pesky auditors during business hours today. They've rained on my parade all week long!!!

Well, good thing I didn't hop on the broom to raid your fridge! I was seriously famished when I posted that. I could have eaten the corner of my desk. As to liquid provisions, we won't run out for 3.5 years, if we drink one bottle per day (which we don't) and don't replenish (which never happens either)!!

As to my agenda, tomorrow, a bunch of us are getting together to go to the spa and then back to my house for dinner. Join us!! Sunday, I have nothing planned - bliss!!!

Hiya Irish! *waving*

I saw this 140 cm silk shawl on ebay. I love this in grey and white! I haven't seen it in the US, yet.

Gosh with you and pugsie up to your eyebrows in guests this weekend, I guess it will just be Pauillac, lola and me baching it up (in Pauillac's H. bag closet :yahoo:).

If the guests aren't up to par, though, you can certainly come and join us.

I can only assume that the auditors are not included in the invite to the spa and dinner.

Sounds like a lovely day, and please open a good bottle with me in mind (somehow, I imagine that a good bottle is a given at your house!:D).

And, I wouldn't mind taking a whack at that wine inventory. Who says you actually have to finish a bottle.:p

Oh, I'm not a bachellorette right now, but when I am, I get no warning, lol. (nor an explanation, but I'm used to it I guess. Goes with the territory. At least he's well paid.)

You guys are still more than welcome to seek refuge out in my country, lol. The river is right out my front door as long as you don't mind the odd loon or deer.

Hclub, I'm sure you'll hug her smelly self before you shove her in the shower, right?

I'm waiting on those big silk shawls, too, especially the Les Cles. I've been told by a very good authority that every serious H collector needs a Les Cles, right? :amuse: They've been on the European websites but not in the store yet. Note to self: call SA and remind her how anxious I am to have large scarf I can't pay for and can't wear for at least 2 months!

I saw les cles giant silks in three colors at hermes riverside(nj) last weekend (pink, purple and blue) They are very very beautiful!
