I caved and bought my first Lippmann today -- Across the Universe, which I've been lusting over for months. It's funny, this was the first time I've actually seen the bottles in person, and they're smaller than I imagined! I think all of the big pictures I've seen have skewed my perceptions. 
Was doing some orange comparisons and thought I would share some of them!

The only one I am not 100% sold on is Trout Pout. It DEFINITELY leans more pink than orange and is much more coral and much less orange. I regret adding it here, but I really didnt feel like starting a new wheel.

That's like me! Because I live in Australia, I always have to order online (hard to find here, expensive, etc) and then my order comes and I'm all "oh... that's... so tinnny!"
Anyway, nice purchase! That was my first Lippmann purchase, too.
I was in Nordstrom today doing an exchange and finally spotted the Lippmann neon collection in person - so gorgeous!!! I absolutely am in love. Being a cheap-o, though, I didn't want to drop $50 w/taxes on the set, so I found a $10 of $50 at beauty.com through temptalia and snagged the set with a nail file for $40! Yay!! While I've broken my brand-ban this year, this set is totally worth it! They're smaller bottles (8ml/0.27 fl oz), but it's still a decent size. Can't wait to try them on!
I have a Nordy's note I've been thinking about using on these. But I'm still deciding if I want to get them or wait and use it on the yellow Dior coming out.

I say if you are itching to spending your Nordstrom note (I always am!)
- use the note to purchase the DL's. Makes them "feel" more affordable - and you get a little dose of yellow sunshine to hold ya over till the Dior comes out.
