I have the two of them here. But I’m selling the onthego because i think Chanel is more classy and fashion en elegant. Everyone wants the onthego now. I loved the gm but this one is cute but doesn’t do anything by me. The shoulder strap is also short for a coat. The straps from the Chanel are perfect. I must say I’m scared to use the Chanel and has been looking all the time as she stands in my room I’m so in love!

Onthego GM is stunning! I has that one also but that one omg is so heavy! That’s why I was forced to sell it, otherwise I was keeping it. Now I have the mm, but as I says Chanel wins this one! When are u going to use your bag? ;-)

I recently bought one leather and one canvas deauville!! I went all the way of chanel deauville this time!!

I have the OTG Empreinte and while I think the style is more elegant than the Chanel, I can't recommend it. I'm not sure if I just got a bad bag, but the corners are caving in on mine. I've used it < 5 times. I've already been in contact with LV but I'm having a hard time getting CS to reply to my emails. Very frustrating.

Can't comment on the Deauville as I don't have one, but style-wise, I think the OTG is nicer. However it does not seem to be holding up well at all for a leather bag.

I will always choose Chanel :love:

I used to only have classics (flaps/boy bags/wocs) but just recently felt that I need a tote (I have an LV neverfull but totally over it) I also have a Dior canvas panarea tote that I still use occasionally.
I got my first deuaville last month (20A black canvas in medium/large) and loved it so much that I just ordered the 19B burgundy leather one in small size :)

When I tried on the On the Go at LV, I just thought it was too stiff and wouldn’t suit my lifestyle. That’s how I felt about the leather Deauville too. I think you should try both on and you’ll probably be able to figure it out instantly.

I went in to that shopping day thinking I would buy a leather Deauville, tried that on, and the LV On the Go and walked away with a canvas Deauville...haha I posted this pic of my purchase already in the January 2020 purchases thread. I’ll be using this for work to carry a laptop as well as casually with my three kiddos.

Great pic! The Deauville is one of my fave Chanel bags, I'm actually considering a third one!
