Dear ma’am that did not want her SO

My wife thanks you from the bottom of her heart for her Christmas present.

Wife hasn’t been using her Birkin much but doesn’t take her Kelly off and since day 1 has been asking for a purple bag.

My SA quickly escorts us into a fitting room. Comes back with a nice big Orange box. Tells us another one of her clients did not want her SO because it had taken too long and she had already bought another bag in too similar of a color.

Wife now owns a Togo Sellier K28 in Anemone with a lining of Bleu Electrique with Gold HW with pretty horseshoe and all. As soon as my wife saw the bag, she almost fainted.

I’ll come back and post a few pictures of it for you ladies on Tuesday once she officially opens her present.

Ordered in October of 2016 and declined this week. Not sure how long it was in the store after delivery though.

Because they find something similar or with even better specs (in case of a PO) at another store. More than 3 years passed until my PO arrived and months ago I was offered the almost same bag with better specs.

Good point.especially to think that it’s the ultimate privilege to be able to place a SO. This is like bespoke Hermes however after waiting for more than a year I can see taste, desire and wishes evolving. If my special order takes 3 years like I’ve seen it/read it here , I will probably decline is on the count of that ship has sailed. It’s kinda like dating- out of sight out of mind.
