If you can visit a boutique, maybe you can request to see the mono ZCW, poch clefs, mini pochette, and agenda together, next to your DE purse. Or ask to see a mix of prints? It could give you a better idea on prospective purchases. :) Try an off-peak time when there's less people shopping so you and the SA won't feel rushed.

Yeah, I've came to the same conclusion - they are inside my bag anyway, so I may as well get the print I like and not worry about it... And I can always get a matching monogram bag or another wallet in DE.

I've been to the store last month (I live pretty far away) when I was getting a new bag and I've asked to look at the wallets - I wanted to see the Clemence in DE, but they didn't have it (only in Monogram) and I've seen other wallets; I've also seen the mini pochette and cles pochette, because I wanted to see how much they hold. I won't get everything right away anyway. I did see them lined together, so I do get an idea of how they look - in my opinion it's not perfect but it works.

Unfortunately, as I live far away, I will be ordering the wallet online, I won't go to the store to see it in person. That's why I've felt I needed to hear people's thoughts on it. I just hope it will work for me!

For me each item is unique. My SLGs all have their own personality. For example I got my Milla Pochette (which I use as wallet) in Mono. I couldn't "see" it in DE. It just wouldn't "feel" the same. My cosmetic pouch I got in cherry vernis. The throught of the cosmetic pouch in canvas makes me yawn.

I also order online a lot. With SLGs, using my iPad, I zoom in on the item on the LV site. I then set the iPad next to my other items that I own. I do this in each print and usually one pops out as perfect.

You've done your research then :) it should work out well. This is why I found your thread interesting, you're considering buying a wallet, but you're also thinking ahead to next purchases and what will hold your interest years on. Hope you'll enjoy your ZCW!

Yeah, I think it's the same for me now... I've had a few days to think things over and I'm already thinking about a mono bag too! :p I'm sure I'll go with mono SLGs for now to get some variety. I think deep down I've already known I wanted SLGs in mono, because I just like the way they look a little bit more on their own.

I didn't even know they've made Milla Pochette in DE, I've thought it only came in Mono and Azur... But I might be mistaken! :smile1:
Honestly, the cosmetic pouch in mono was one of the first SLGs I've seen and I've thought it was the cutest thing ever. DE just didn't really do it for me. Although cosmetic pouch in cherry vernis sounds really fun! Though I wouldn't be brave enough to get any vernis SLGs, I'd be too worried about wear and tear and colour transfer.

To be honest, in my eyes mono SLGs are very pretty on their own BUT there are some exceptions which I think look better in other prints - I wouldn't get an SLG in a print just for the sake of liking the print and not in other one if I've thought it looked better the other way around... However, I'd love to get a set of mono SLGs (the ZCW NM, mini pochette, cles pochette (and this one I actually really like in ebene too, so I'll think long and hard before I get it, or else get it in both prints, or get the 6 key holder in monogram, because that one I actually do prefer in monogram :p), cosmetic pouch and agenda).

All reason aside, it seems my OCD took the best of me in the end... I went with Clemence Wallet in DE and Cles Pochette in DE. I wasn't very happy with the Compact Zippy NM when I saw it in the store, the Clemence just screamed to me and appealed to me more. And in person, maybe because I was carrying my DE Speedy B 25, but I just liked the idea of a matching wallet a lot. And Cles is just really beaufitul in Ebene, I love the contrast with that gold chain. I think I'll just go with DE for now, but I'm sure that later down the road once I get a few monogram bags I'll get a separate set of matching monogram SLGs! :D

Hi I’m new here !!

just wondering if I can ask opinion on two matters because I’m new so I can’t start a thread yet

firstly - I have a black VavinPM DE which I love for night time

i wanted a day time bag so I recently purchased the crosette . do you think this was a silly purchase as they are both very very similar bags.

*Should I have got something different

secondly ;

I really wanted a wallet. I purchased the Clemence DE . But I’m having second thoughts .
I’m now thinking about the mono. I didn’t even look or

even check it out in store .What’s the opinion here.



which is nicer mono or DE in wallets.


and also - should I keep my bags and wallets matching as in all DE or would it look silly if I Mis matched?

My favorite LV wallet is Amarante Vernis. I’d buy what you love. I do like my slg’s to be coordinated, and DE is my favorite LV print, but I still have a cles in mono and DE, and the mini pockets in both prints as well. My small agenda is in monogram, and my cosmetics bag is in DE, so I have a mix. I don’t carry everything at once, but I do use them all. They’re timeless and functional!
