This sounds like a good idea, though i've never done a meet so I don't really know what people normally do.

My only concern is that the store is in shortage for a lot of items right now so i'm not sure when would be a good time to go. I was there about two weeks ago and literally everything I wanted to look at was out of stock!

I've checked with the Chevy Chase location and with my SA at the LV inside Neiman Marcus (Tyson's Corner). All locations are low on inventory, which isn't anything new right now for all stores. There's a big meeting going on today, so my Chevy Chase SA and the manager are out of the store, but what day would we like? Also, are we trying to make this a meet and lunch event? I'll keep trying to reach the Chevy Chase location to see how they'd like to handle the group coming...How many of us will be in attendance? The poll shows that 16 people voted, but will everyone be coming? What about friends, family, etc? I guess I'd need more specifics to tell them...

Can you guys figure out a way to at least PM every one who voted. I don't want to be left out but honestly I only check the meet thread when dcmdva pops up on the home screen. If there is a certain time...or week in sept/ oct then I will just keep checking

Minus myself, I only counted 13 who have listed a vote. I can PM everyone to ask about a particular date/time, but I'd need to know who the other 6 people are...
@Senzafine-Since you created the poll, are you able to see all of the names of the people that voted?

I voted for CC but didnt post a response to this thread. Fri, Sat or Sun would work for me since I would be traveling from the Hampton Roads area & the wknd of Oct 16th would be perfection :D

Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know that I spoke with my SA at the Chevy Chase store, and she said that she didn't think it would be a problem for us to invade them! :p I'm going to talk to the District Manager tomorrow, but I wanted to know what, if anything, we were looking for from them, aside from their attention when we arrive en mass...They aren't going to be hosting any parties any time soon, so I'm not sure what I can get them to do.

How many people would be going there to shop versus to see the store for the first time? That will probably make a big difference to the DM, because she'll want to make sure that enough staff is on hand to work with us...

Hi All,
The votes for the meet are all over the place. Some can meet during the week, some can't. Those that can meet during the week prefer to meet during the day, while some can't. We really need to give the store a 2-week head start, so perhaps what we need to do is pick a date and see who can make it?

We're getting really close to November now, and I know that the Leather goods manager and the District Manager will be traveling a lot during the middle to end of the month, and then we run into the Thanksgiving holiday, so maybe we'll have to push the meet back to, say, the 1st weekend of December? What about Saturday, December 4th or Sunday, December 5th, in the afternoon?

Either of those dates would work for me but not sure I'd be 'welcomed' there. I placed an online order on Friday which subsequently got canceled, and when I called CS to find out why, they said I'd reached the 'limit' on purchases and that I could no longer buy from online or in boutiques (and I'm not sure for how long I'm 'banned'?)

I've only bought 1 purse this year, everything else was SGLs/fashion jewelry and bandeaus, so I'm a little hesitant to go now. Does anyone know a SA's name at the CC boutique, so I could call to find out my 'status' for sure?

Call and ask for "Naz." I've heard that customers are limited to 2 pieces per month now; I thought it just applied to handbags, but maybe it's SLGs too. It'll be interesting to see what happens because I've been saving up for a few things that I want to get for my upcoming birthday...
