I have an average wrist (6.5 inches) and I have the 5mm bangle. I am hoping to get another one to stack with it this year.
I love this bracelet, I wear it almost every day and it looks great with everything!

I just purchased the 5mm in Morganite. My wrists are about 6 inches. I'm not thin, but average and the 5mm cable DY bracelet look really pretty stacked with a silver pandora bracelet that I own (not the pandora charm bracelet). The 5mm size stack beautifully with other bracelets. I tried on the 7mm at Saks, but was iffy. Maybe for my second piece I'll consider, but for now I'm happy with the 5mm.

Cool! I just purchased the 5mm in morganite too. :)

Hey all, I want to purchase the classic dy bracelet but am trying to decide between the 5mm and the 7mm.

On my 5'4" frame, I have freakishly thin arms - for visuals, i can fit a LV speedy 25 handle very close to my shoulders. i actually am able to wear children's jewelry.

so that being said, would the 7mm be too big? is there a more "classic" or "popular" size. i want to get an idea before i go to the boutique, thanks!

I am your height and have a 5 3/4 inch wrist. You could do either. But, while either one would would look pretty as a stand alone piece. I think the 5mm is a better choice if you plan on stacking them or wearing with a watch. The 7mm would look a little chunky if stacked with anything else on your wrist imo. But would be an amazing "statement" piece worn alone. But everyone's taste is different. I would imagine you like things well-balanced by your question. As your first piece, I would go with the 5mm due to its versatility. If you end up getting a 3rd or 4th piece later on, then you may want to get the 7mm to wear as a stand-alone statement piece.
