Can anyone tell me if the date code on the Trevi PM would always be right in the alcantara lining or could it be on a tag on the inside of the pocket. Believe it is a fake but just double checking. The photo is hard to see, it was hard to get a picture but the code reads TJ2142 (in case it matters). TIA.

I just won a Favorite MM listing on ebay and I noticed that another listing has the same date code of the bag I won. Should I be alarmed? Both have SD1183 date codes. First link is the bag I won.

No, date codes are not unique to a particular bag.
Both bags were made in France or US the 18th week of 2013. I'm sure many bags were made with that same stamp.
Hope you had the bag authenticated first.
Hi there! I just purchased a LV Neverfull MM from Saks Fifth Avenue, but bcs I am anal about authenticity, I thought you ladies could help me figure out if the date code makes any sense. It is stitched so far into the bag underneath the pocket that I can't even read the last digit. All I see is SD113? Could this even make sense? I know SD means made in the US, but not sure how it can make sense for 3 to be the 3rd digit. Thoughts?
Yes it makes sense. It means the 13 week. The final digit is likely three or four. If three it means the bag was made on the 13th week of 2013. If four it means the bag was made on the 13th week of 2014.
