Still waiting on my body messenger in the embossed dark grey goatskin. I'm not the most patient of people, but Laurel's bags are worth the wait.

This little custom beauty is on her way to me!! It's her small barrel bag in burgundy leather with brass hardware and a few tweaks. We switched the strap to an adjustable one, used a two-way zipper, added leather tabs to the zipper pulls, switched out the skull keyfob for a clochette, and (my personal favourite) a pocket on the end to slip my phone or keys into. Can't wait!!

Wow, this is beautiful! I love how the two-way zipper adds a decorative detail when zipped tot he middle. Can I ask how much it ended up being after all the custom details?

Safeire and chessmont your barrel bags are stunning! I would really appreciate a mod shot from any of you with a medium barrel bag as I just can't imagine how it hangs against the body when shoulder carried with the long strap. I've only ever carried less structured bags with less depth, usually flat against my body or relatively so. I think I never wanted this shape because I thought it would look weird carrying it with the long crossbody strap and I have lots of kids and need hands free a lot! But these bags from laurel are so stunning I just can't handle it, I need my first barrel bag now. Colorblock in beige, brown and black I think, with all the same customization as Safeire got -those were all great ideas! Also braided handles and studs.
