Tough question they both look good. What type of jewelry do you wear most (I personally don't worry about matching but thought I'd ask) and does it matter if you"match"?

Upon second look, I say silver...

I tend to wear more silver....but....I don't care if it matches or not. ☺

You can't go wrong with either hardware color here, the brass picks up the pretty color in the leather and the silver picks up the 'sheen' of the leather.
I personally prefer gold/brass hardware on my bags but think both look good in this case.
