IMO she is the spitting image of her dad! I don't really see Melanie Griffith there. But then again, I have forgotten what Melanie G. really looks like, LOL!

I must be missing the gene to see the resemblance between people and their parents/other relatives. I can barely see a resemblance among my own family. I think Melanie Griffith took out a bunch of fillers and has retuned to a more natural look (thank goodness) and I haven't seen Don Johnson in years. I only see how pretty I find Dakota Johnson and that I like her clothes. She doesn't remind me of either of her parents but I know I have that blindness, not sure why.

I think that looking at a picture of her half-brother Jesse makes it easier to see where she resembles her dad the most. I definitely see her dad in her mouth and eyes, but see her mom in the shape of her face. I've always thought she was a really strong combination of both parents. But truth be told, when they were younger Melanie and Don could have probably passed for siblings.

Is that her grandmother, Tippi Hedren? She's so tiny! Dakota looks like a giant next to her. I wish Melanie would have let herself age as gracefully as her mother (she may have had work done, IDK, but it is subtle, if so).

Well she may have shrunk but obviously she was a lot shorter than Dakota to begin with. Also she is wearing flats while Dakota is wearing very high heels. So if they were five inches apart and you add those shoes, it would be ten inches.

I see her dad too....but then when I look at her next to her mother I see a resemblance there too....I guess as someone said, maybe melanie and don look somewhat alike
