The detail in some of the artwork is amazing. Must have taken such a long time to complete. And the bravery of the croc owners to have them painted.....

EB, I have commented on these beauties before but must again....your bags, especially the HAC, are true works of art...they are absolutely incredible! I know you worked hard on the collaboration so all I can say is......Bravo!!!! Happy Holiday!!!
Those are absolutely stunning.
That plume just makes me feel happy all over... I’m assuming the toile was dirty or damaged. Regardless of the reason, a gorgeous transformation. The HAC is awesome too, a work of art, but the colour scheme on the plume is divine.
Those are absolutely stunning.
Can I ask what "criteria" you had for choosing bags to have painted?
That plume is just divine!
Truly inspiring!I literally would stare at my bag closet — and think — for years — about what to do.
The HAC was first. It had some water blemishes I wanted to disguise. I wanted to have the design be seamless, where you could not imagine the bag without the design. I went to NYC one weekend and got a henna tattoo and was inspired. I took a deep breath, sent the bag to Max Brownawell based on a TPF recommendation.
My Psychedelic Plume was done because though I liked the bag, it did not make me smile. Last April I decided to commission the design because I felt it important to support Artists during the Pandemic. I just told Max I wanted something that would make me smile. And it does.
I could not be more thrilled with the results.
happen to see these customized bags in Hong Kong. Yay or nay?
Some customized bags i saw in ig are beautiful but I pity these few
Interesting, bags in these two posts were done by the same artist, Jay Ahr, but elicited such stark contrast responses from usThese vintage beauties are by Jay Ahr, who sources the bags and creates an embroidery that matches their story.

The result is pretty stunning in person.

WOW! These are amazing. I love metallic bags and especially love your B30! So amazing. That's an inspiration if I want to give my workhorse bag a new life one day! Here are mine, all thanks to the artistry of @docride. I deliberately bought rescue bags that I felt deserved a second life. They are not for everyone, or for every occasion, but I love and wear them. I wanted metallic blues and greys for my custom Bs.
