hello, lol i tried on that exact website :p. in the end black on black works best for me hahah. anyway i gave up on ordering as i figure i can just buy a black Le Pliage from the store easily. of course the difference is unless u looking to embossing &/or embroidery :yes:

thanks! one of the girls in my office got green with pink, which turned out to be really cute. Anyone else have one of these? Anyone just want to play on the website and let me know which colors they would chose?

I don't know how to post pics :( but I ordered a custom bag about 6 months ago. It is gorgeous (to me, but I tend towards neutrals), they shipped it super quick too. I bought the medium, long handles, brass hardware, black with taupe strip and monogrammed. I figured black would wear well. I saw someone with the same bag in the smaller size, it looked great too.

has anyone ever chosen the same colour for main and stripe colour? if you choose the same colour on the onlineshop, the animation there shows that there are still white stiches visible, does this apply to the real bag too or is it just a "mistake" on the onlineshop?
i'm actually just interested in the embossing on the backflap and would prefer a one coloured bag! the visible stitches would bother me though!! so any suggestions as to what stripe colour would look good with "bilberry" as main colour would be appreciated too!

i have tried red as the main color with taupe as the stripe. But I'm still playing with colors though. As for the bilberry as the main color, how about beige or blueberry for the stripe? i also want my initials embroidered on the flap.

I try this feature every time I visit the site and I can never decide which combination looks best. I think they all look better IRL. I would be interested to find out about using the same color as well. I wish they offered a monogramming service for the regular Le Pliage bags.

I like a white bag with navy or black stripe and gold H/W, kinda cruise look, well on the screen, in reality white is too high maintenance for me and I'm happy with my mass market version haha

haha...i made the same bag (white with navy stripe) last time i played around with the feature

i would never actually have ordered it though...white gets dirty too easily for my taste

this is the exact same issue i'm having. i wanted to make a bilberry one but the stitching is just completely bothering me. If anyone has done a completely solid one and has any advice about the stitching it would be much appreciated!

They say on the site that the stitching is beige, and that if you order a solid color bag the center will be stitched.

I have three of the custom bags and I love them, but you really need to get a different colored stripe to take advantage of the extra cost IMHO.

You know, you can buy a solid-colored Le Pliage and have a leather repair store do the embossing on the flap. Or as at Longchamp where they'd recommend for embossing -- sometimes they have a local craftsperson they can recommend.
