FYI COUER BAG

Per my contact in Client Services, who is a manger, the Couer bag is very limited and not available to order. Stores that receive the bag are required to go through the waitlist/reservation and the client must purchase immediately. No holds allowed and the manager must approve the purchase to ensure the client was on the waitlist. There’s no inventory for it outside of store availability. Your best option is to work with a store who shows availability for it and ask to be added to the waitlist. Unfortunately, constantly refreshing the page for this item will not lead to PLACE IN CART/ADD TO BAG. Best wishes to all who are coveting this bag.

I was going to do to the same, but wasn't sure about the 2 hour drive. Then I checked again, and it was no longer available at that store. It was probably just a mistake. Ugh!

Even if the bag shows available, it would not be available for walk-ins purchase. I am sure stores are filled with clients on the waitlist for it.

Thank you for the information!! It is my understanding that not all stores received this bag either... most likely only the flagship stores? Wonder if anyone can clarify.

I’ve heard similar things while trying to track down. It sounds like they are being very selective who they sell it to as well. Sigh.

I just called CS regarding the heart bag and they said for that and the entire collection you have to go in the store. They are not transferring calls to the boutiques. So if you have contact info for an SA, maybe try that route.

Lol luckily my store is only 20 mins drive away so I was able to go during lunch at work. The sa told me the heart bag was sold this morning but the system hasn’t updated. Got to see the speedy, NF and Vanity PM( which I didn’t know they made it for this collection) tho so I guess lunch was good lol.

Sounds like it doesn’t matter bc the stores are selling to the lucky few who were able to preorder and meets a certain criteria. Which is frustrating as sounds like a lot of people were in same boat as me and told no preorder.

I just finished catching up on this thread and my speedy made it to "order in preparation"

I return with some thoughts...
  • I have mixed feelings on whether it this should be branded a "speedy bandoulière"
  • I'm ecstatic it's not a bandoulière in the same way the permanent collection speedy Bs are -- I've never been a fan of the leather strips down the sides or the way attaching a strap there encourages the bag to fold into itself
  • AND because it means this cutie gets that side pocket!
  • ANDDD because it means it had the little tabs on the sides, which I just personally like the appearance of a lot (especially compared to the full leather strips on traditional speedy Bs)
  • with that said, I will be very, very disappointed if mine is made in US because I don't like how naked the little tabs looks without any "made in" embossing, which you lose when you get the cloth tag
  • I wonder why the speedy B wasn't designed like this in the first place -- with the extra metal behind the handles -- I love this because it's also very subtle when you aren't using a strap (whereas on the speedy B there's metal D rings openly hanging off the sides)
  • I would die if the Game On speedy came with the clochette that the vanity case has... I wonder if I'll be able to order it for my cutiepie
  • I'm disappointed by the cube coin purse, like, a lot; I know it's probably offensive to most everyone who has taste haha, but I think my Giant cube (purple, yellow, black & white trim) will look be perf on my speedy instead
  • kinda bummed Zoe didn't come in black
  • I'm shocked by the lack of photos on the site of these pieces... there's a huge design on the right side of the speedy, but 0 showcasing of it
  • the card case is such a cool piece; I would definitely be buying this had the cart slots been of the horizontal variety (even though I still probably would never have used it as a card case even then but rather as decor haha, but we all have to have parameters for not succumbing to these kinds of impulses, and one of mine is refusing to own anything w vertical card slots)
I'm so excited!!!! this will be my first speedy 25

I was able to "preorder" the heart bag in that my name was put on some sort of list but I don't have much hope that I will get one. I did not put down any payment either. In that case, I think that's just a waitlist.

However, there were others who were able to preorder / pay through their SA and even have the heart bag already (if they selected expedited shipping) - I was not one of these people.

I think it's worth differentiating between the two. Hopefully there will be some heart bags to go around for the former (people on the waitlist) - but probably not enough for EVERYONE on the list.
