Interesting...I have not tried Clorox wipe.I’ve cleaned my canvas before with a Clorox wipe wrapped in a microfiber towel, to prevent lint from the wipe getting on the canvas. Have you tried the patina champ method on the strap?
I’m sensitive to scents also. When I wear perfume, which is rare, I only apply it to my wrists. I do not like residual perfume smell on my clothes, accessories, or especially my seat belt strap. Every time I have to get a loaner car from the dealership, the residual cologne/perfume smell makes me gag. When it comes to fragrance, less is more.
Maybe it is not meant to be carried on the shoulders?
Cute but looks a bit silly IMO on the wrist... I can see it as more of an upper arm thing...but either way, cute to look at but not for me!
I keep thinking Prada! The logo design is giving me 80s hair metal vibes.
Love this new version of Bel Air! Disappointed they still chose to go with a traditional belt buckle closure...really thought with the new extra piece of vachetta, that they were adding a magnetic snap closure. Really don't want the hassle of a buckle closure, and I wouldn't want to leave it unbuckled either! Sadly, it'll probably end up becoming a deal breaker for me (as it was on the original Bel Air, as pretty as it is). Some pic from the preview.
The “taller” alma is a backpack.
Does your Bel Air have kind of like a plastic/chemical smell? I find a lot of my bags from the 90's to early 2000's have the smell... especially my monogram Trouville from 2004 and Cherry Blossom pochette from 2003. Sadly, nothing I've tried really removes it. I just deal with it, it's not really an offensive smell per se just a bit strong!Interesting...I have not tried Clorox wipe.
I used patina champ, Apple guard, and Leather Milk on the vachetta and the strap. I think my new mono strap might be a good option if it doesn’t get betterIt looks cute with the bag.
I am so sensitive to perfume, I agree, only on the wrist. I only use natural scent from coconut or vanilla, sometimes jasmine. When I was young I was the perfume spray girl at Saks. That probably made me more sensitive.
Thanks for thinking of me!@karman Off topic but I thought of you earlier when I saw a nano Turenne for sale in one of the FB groups. I know how you like nano bags.
Thanks for thinking of me!I was close to buying the nano Turenne on eBay but thought it was too similar to the Speedy. I already feel the nano Dora is very similar to the nano Speedy (though it fits quite a bit less!)
Wish LV would release more nanos in the Cruise 2020 collection (see how I just tried to steer back to topic?)
Seriously though. The micro bumbag and Palm Springs backpack are cute, but not practical. For me, it needs to at least fit my iPhone 6s to be considered practical... that's why I would've loved a Boite Chapeau but when I couldn't fit my phone in it, it was a deal breaker. I know keeping my phone at a certain angle would fit based on what someone else told me here, but that's too much work for a $5k (CAD) bag!
3-in-1 SLGs in Mono Geant, Reverse, and Mini.
Thank you so much for the information! It looks gorgeous on you, and I love the style.Hi, it is the Bel Air
There is also the Beverly- but it’s bigger, and has an inside zipper pocket. I prefer this size
There are a ton on EBay and the prices are all over the place. From 400.00- 1900.00!
I saw it on IG stating it's around 2800 CAD (approx)I know. It looks slightly smaller and more compact. I can hardly wait to hear the price![]()
