I have been texting with my SA (she's the sweetest!) as I just got the SO black calf boy. I was waiting to see the dark red chevron caviar boy before making a decision, and she told me the caviar this season might be more prone to scratches, since it is not the shiny rugged caviar we all think of. (This is in regards to the seasonal bags, not the classics)

I just went into the store earlier today with the intention to see what minis they had in stock and I saw this baby. I can't believe no one has talked about it.
The moment I saw it I knew it was coming home with me.

Honestly I don't know what its code is (got it in Asia and they never show you the tag) but it's a classic flap M/L made of straw-like material with aged gold hardware. Inside and the strap is this beautiful metallic champagne gold.
The sweet part is, because it is not leather-heavy (only the strap and the lining) the price is great for a classic M/Light flap!! Like about 70-75% of a leather version. And I think the craftsmanship is definitely here and justifies the price (well, by Chanel standards...) - look at how the material is interweaved and braided; with both the quilt and stripe effects. Stunning.
I highly recommend checking it out. What a modern, edgy, easy but still classic piece!

The 2 minis...that's like more than an inch difference!
Would you happen to know if it's just the beige with the longer strap or all Cruise minis have longer straps? TIA!
The dark blue from 18C has the longer chain as well. 23 inches which is the standard length. I wonder what length is the red?
