she just recieved her blue jean tonite!! its gorgeous!! i think im seriously going to cry at the thought of what she wrote..about how they pick the dogs out of cages..its too horribe..i'll never get over the thought of that
ive had gator bites btw ..they're like popcorn chicken & taste just the same..they serve them in many restaurants in Florida

How fabulous it is to have a Birkin! The experience is invaluable, I am sure.
I could have sworn I was told Mississippi when I worked there. The CITES papers said "Alligator mississippiensis".
Croc Prorosus is from Austraila and Niloticus is from Zimbabwe.
^^Alligator Mississippiensis is just the scientific name for American alligator. There's a large population in Florida.
^^Oh my goodness, Cyn! Really?? Oh the poor pup! Where I live my dogs tend to kill and chew up all the critters that come into their yard, much to my dismay of course.. the poor defenceless critters. The only danger are snakes, esp near the pool area in the heat of summer. I've seen news reports tho of gators ending up in suburban pools in the US, lol!
Oh no!!! I didn't mean that my dog was eaten, OMG! That does happen all the time there, but no, thank goodness my dog was not a casualty.
He was a sweetheart to people but HATED alligators. He killed two of them (both very small)--one that had gotten into our pool, and another he apparently found on the lakeshore. :s

^^Oh thank goodness, lol! When I read it my eyes and mouth widened in shock, thinking the worst of the situation. Glad your pup was ok.
Mine also love ppl but anything furry, scaly, feathery, er.. amphibiany, are apparently on their hitlist. With 3 Jacks, our place was pretty much a death camp for wondering critters. They don't know their own size and will take on anything, so I'm relieved we don't have gators here.

I've tried it once. Ages ago. At the Crooked House in Gold Coast. That was a fun restaurant in my university days. I believe it has closed down.
