Thank you for your thoughts ☺️ @WhiteBus!

I found the bag in real live / shop and could not take a picture, the green is a darker green with yellow /brown undertones that creates a beautiful pattern and depth to the leather as the space between the scales is a quite a lighter that the scales themselves. Not malachite, vert Roseau, vert comics, vert fonce, vert verone, vert anis type of green. A bit like vert olive but less cool. I have not seen the green before, bag is from 2015. or maybe I do not recognise it because it comes out differently in alligator. Probably this does not help much 😂 either …..

It is shiny alligator.

I would hate to ruin such a beautiful piece with my way of using it but at the same time I could not stand not to use it. Do you think a few waterdrops here and there would build up a kind of patina over time with intermittent visits to Spa or would I rather end up with a bag that looks spotty all over? I mean, it is a small bag, so I should fit under an umbrella or my coat for protection, if I get caught in rain. I seem to be enabling myself 😂
It sounds like you really love this bag but are afraid it isn’t “worth” it because of the delicate nature and the cost. If you’re going to use it and love it and you can spring for it you should do it. I still regret the ones I’ve let get away that were not “practical” but made my heart sing. Go for it!
