I just had a mental image of me going into my local store with a boatload of bags and being all "Okay, clean em' up!' They would hate me!

:D

Sounds good, except I'm not sure if the services will be offered by people who actually know what they're doing; I get shivers picturing clueless folks experimenting all kinds of things on my bags, for cleaning purposes or whatever.

I would hope they would be well trained, but i do get your point. Did anyone watch the video of the lady they have rehabbing some vintage bags??

I was told when I bought my Ace satchel that it was being offered from fall purchases onwards. I assume they look at the purchase date.

They wouldn't offer it on prior year bags? I find that odd, I mean what exactly is the point of having a cleaning/sprucing service for bags that are not very old?

And I agree with pp about being worried that the SAs are clueless and ruining items. I hope they did a thorough training on this.

I checked confirmed with her:

****"Cleaning pertains to all leather coach bags regardless of age. Don't clean patent or suede though and the service is free."***
Best to book make an appointment to make sure someone is there to clean as it takes 30-40 minutes. Taking my Kristin pleated satchel in to test it out.

Well that's better lol. I don't even own any current bags ... let us know how the cleaning goes!

Well if I had a Coach store within a 2 1/2 hour drive of me, I might care, but Coach will only put this in California and NYC and maybe Chicago, because the rest of us don't exist anyway.

LOL while i have a few within 2.5hrs of me including a factory i doubt any of mine will have these options either i will have to go to the 'big' cities. I just like they are attempting to offer some aftercare service, i mean the shoe/leather repair place did a wonderful job on my daughters bag but seriously it was simple enough Coach should have handled especially if they want to establish themselves as some premier brand. :nono:

Yea some of you all have "few" many of us have none. Stupid Coach! And don't get me started on lack of clothing sized for women who actually buy their leather goods instead of angry, malnourished teenager models.

I do not get the placement of the stores.. I live in no mans land so have to drive to get to any major form of shopping to begin with.

As for clothes people's sizes vary so i don't disagree they need a better range but i also respect there are folks all all end of the spectrum.
