"
DISCOVER THE CRAFTSMANSHIP BAR

CLEAN IT ON US

You are cordially invited to bring your favorite Coach leather bags and accessories to a store near you for expert cleaning and conditioning at our Craftsmanship Bar. We recommend that you use our complimentary services every three months to maintain the luster, color and pliability of your Coach leatherware."

This sounds promising... i know i would utilize the service after a long winter lol.

"
NEED A REPAIR?

Our in-store Craftsmanship Bar also offers exceptional repair services for your valued leather items. Many of these repairs are covered by warranty. Others are available for a nominal fee."

That would be an improvement, considering my younger daughters bag despite being under warranty had to be repaired by a shoe/leather repair store NOT coach.

Probably a very good move on Coach's part, especially since they want to start charging their customers upwards of $800 and much more in some instances! Customers who spend that kind of money want to know that they'll be taken care of........

I don't think my local boutique will be offering these services. It's pretty small and doesn't get much business. I was just in last week to ask them if they had any tricks to fix the leather zipper pull on my oilslick rhyder (It came brand new but appears to have sealant dripped all over it). SA just brushed it off and said "Sometimes that just happens, no one will notice it but you." Then she changed the subject and asked if I was looking to buy anything that day. I was, but refused to purchase from her so I went home and ordered from the website.

For sure... how good the services will be and accessible is the next issues though.

That is poor sales service. Will the sealant come off with rubbing?

I've only used the coach cleaner on it so far and nothing came off. I'm too scared to do much more, afraid I will take the navy color off and it will look worse.

I went into the store with the rhyder in a coach shopping bag, all the SAs tried to avoid me, even though I was the only customer in the tiny store. I'm sure they were afraid I wanted to make a return. There is only 1 good SA there but of course that was her day off. She's the only one I buy from and is always so helpful, acts the same for returns and purchases. I make sure I email coach everytime I visit the store to make sure they know she's an amazing and sweet employee. I've noticed all the stuck up SAs treat her poorly, she's a bit of an adorable dork compared to them.

Sad but hopefully she'll outlast all of the rude ones........can't stand a rude SA! They don't get my business either. If I were you I'd call ahead to make sure your fave is working that day so you can work with her instead of the others.

Oh my word! As Stephanie from Full House used to say, "How rude!" Back to topic, will they be charging for this, as you have to pay $20 now to send it in?

That's to bad, nothing like having SA with terrible attitude to ruin a store.

Sounds good, except I'm not sure if the services will be offered by people who actually know what they're doing; I get shivers picturing clueless folks experimenting all kinds of things on my bags, for cleaning purposes or whatever.
