It was Sams Club that had the fake Fendi bags... not Costco.
I have personally bought over a dozen handbags from Costco.com -- each and every one of them are authentic. I've bought Prada, Dolce & Gabbana; Fendi, Ugg, Longchamp, Celine, Betsey Johnson and a few others.
I've heard that one can often find the same bags or similar bags for less at Off Fifth (or whatever it's called!) but I live many hours from any good shopping and online is how I make the majority of my purchases...
Have returned a couple of handbags and a wallet to Costco for one reason or another -- and they are fantastic with their returns -- just like always.
Some of them aren't that great of a bargain... the Tumi bags are cheaper elsewhere and some of the Coach bags are the same as at coach.com!
I watch costco.com handbags every day -- a few times. Sometimes a bag will appear and disappear within minutes!

They're grey market bags/ watches. You won't get the same warrenties as you would if you bought them through legitimate sources. So, like on a Movado watch... Movado has a warrenty on the parts being free from defect... but if you didn't buy it from an authorized Movado dealer (and Costco is not one) you are out of luck if you have a problem.
ACtually, if you purchase the watch at Costco you could return it 2 years later AND get your cash back. COstco has THE best return policy! If something is wrong, just return it!

Just remember, Sam's is owned by walmart and pays lower wages to unhappy employees therefore a ugly, dirty store with low employee morale. Whereas COstco has a higher wage, happier employees and the CEO is not a money hungry freak (like the CEO of Walmart). The CEO of Costco only pays himself $300,000 a year so he could take care of his employees!

I adore Costco too...they are so great about returns...I even returned a Auqamarine ring with diamonds 15 days after I bought it for a exact same one with better stone and they were so great!!!! They have my trust....
