final budget has yet to be finalised (but we are not talking celebrity prices, maybe a small cheap car!)and dh reckons i should get as much bang for my buck . either way, i need something for my left hand, whether its an upgrade, or redesigning the old ring or just buying a wedder/eternity band and the money left over for a small pair of diamond studs. who knows? i change my mind everyday. he threw another curb ball in, and said do i want a birkin instead? grrrr:smash:

i agree also. though one day i hope to own one, i just think this particular occasion calls for something of the jewellery kind! i can't tell you how many times a day i change my mind, but ofcourse, have yet to visit any stores to check out what suits me/wot i like etc, so ill keep you posted on my progress. thanks to all the ladies for all your support/encouragement and sound advice....:tender:

I would get myself a classic piece, like diamond studs. But knowing me, I would def. be craving for the more trendy jewelry, ones I have those classic pieces.
So I'd suggest you also buy yourself a nice VCA ring/bracelet or cartier piece (something smaller, not as expensive as the studs of course) so your mind is at ease...at least for while :yes:

yeah that's my problem, i don't wanna get the left hand bling and still be craving the others on my wishlist five minutes later. i think dh is secretly loving torturing me, making me make the choice, meanwhile im fantasising about him coming home announcing a $100k birthday budget....one can dream.....

I'd get a nicely sized pair of diamond studs with some kind of diamond huggies for extra bling when I wanted it. Then probably a sparkley diamond eternity ring for my hand.

Hmmm, what about a tennis bracelet???

3rd choice: Bvlgari open parentesi cos Miss Universe wore it!

2nd choice: Upgrade ring

1st choice: Keep the money lol and spend it next year and continue building up the list. The fun lies in the journey! And delayed gratification is the best!

I would go for the ring upgrade- or the wedder/eternity ring idea. Upgrading a solitare can be really expensive, so I think you'd get more sparkle if you spent the money on a really nice eternity band instead!
