I've just put a Money on hold and it looked big enough to hold a phone, but I don't think you should do it!! I just read in another thread that a cell phone placed in a wallet could play havoc with your credit cards!! (don't ask me how, I guess something to do with the magnetic fields..)

Goodness! Completely forgot about that! Yes, that is very true...don't do it if you have credit cards in your wallet :)

I put my iphone in my money wallet all the time just to run out. The credit cards don't touch the phone - or if they do, slightly, it's just the top front of the cards. Never been a problem.

In fact, it's one of the reasons I love the money.

Great! Thank you! I really want a wallet which I can put my iphone in. I'm currently using LV KOALA wallet which I love too but it's just too much to hold the wallet, the phone and the keys when I go out for some thing.

Also the poster that said their compagnon fits the iphone = the compagnon is WAY bigger than the money wallet. It may fit easily in the compagnon - but it seems like it might stretch the lovely money wallet out over time. : (

Hey everyone! I really do not like wallets but for some reason I'm in love with the money wallet. So here's my question... can you fit a checkbook in the main compartment where the cards are or even in the zippy compartment in the front? TIA!!!

The money has so many compartments to it. Starting from the front, there's the zippy portion, then a section where I put my notes and then another section where I (used to) put my foreign currency (I don't have any right now as my wallet was recently stolen... :( ) Next, there are card slots then a BIG space where the wallet yawns open. I put extra cards in here and also random receipts. Then pretty much the same thing in reverse order, minus the zippy pouch (so cards, flap, flap). I put my check book (with Anne Geddes babies pictures printed on the cheques :) ) in the last flap. There's just so much space in the money.

I guess the answer depends on the size of your cheque book. Mine does not fit in that flap where Toriatan puts hers. It will only fit into the middle compartment, but not comfortably, and it really bulks up the money. I now carry my cheque book separately in my bag. I don't use it very often so it's OK.

If you need a wallet that fits a cheque book comfortably, have you considered a compagnon?

I have found my checkbook fits in both the money and compagnon style. It really depends on how much you carry in your wallet. I love that the money has tons of pockets but the compagnon is slightly larger and zips close.

It could fit easily. People still write checks?:p JK There's so much room you could fit almost everything in it. I have receipts on one side. CC's and Credits in the middle plus the cards slots filled and $$ in the back slot. Also the very front zipper is great for all of those tiny supermarket cards that I was always losing. Great wallet.
