Hi rosebud! Love your Circuit 24 F. (I have this same colorway in the 90cm version .) I read how you were trying to decide how to tie this one. I have the same size issue with my Cheval Surprise, however, I found a way to tie it on the bias while still showing the gingham. If your fold the gingham panel in to form a 90cm square and then fold the whole thing on the bias, one of the tail ends of the scarf will show the gingham as it will peek out on that end. (Does that make sense?) I am out of town but will post a pic when I get back so that you can see what I am talking about. Btw, I love your latest reveal with sweet Abby Normal. You did GOOD in January! (Hey, going a whole month on a ban is down right amazing! I also giggled at the fact of how dedicated you are to venture out for Hermes items in not ONE but TWO snowstorms. Thinking back to your Cuffs story....:smile1: You are one dedicated shopper, for sure!

Thanks for the suggestion! I was actually thinking along the same lines with just folding the gingham over to make a square! I will give that a shot :smile1: and thank you for reading my reveal last night. I thought one month of good behavior was good, too...my scrub of a money tree might disagree though. Hee Hee...

Looking forward to your modeling shots of Cheval Surprise!!

Dover Street Market has changed the price of these scarves from £330 to £275 - only shows when you click on the scarf otherwise shows £330. Curious as to why but if you are looking to buy its worth a look. They ship worldwide.

Couvertures is sold out but they keep adding more stock.

Thats great when you have all ready bought at the higher price typical, but thanks for the heads up have you received your couvertures yet
I received the couvertures yesterday but didn't love it. The design on its own was beautiful and I like the sentiment written on it but I find the black writing just too harsh. I am beginning to feel that way about the coaching too. I am trying to arrange a return but I have to say that it is far easier to buy from DSM than it is to return!

The prices are not arbitrary and Dover Street does, actually, know what they are doing. The price change is dependent upon where the scarf is shipping. The lower price is for shipment to a country where the VAT does not apply. The higher price includes the VAT.

Mindi, I have bought three of these scarves and trust me for a few short hours this morning the price was £275. It had always shown £330 so I was surprised. I understand that the difference is VAT but the site always assumes VAT until checkout where it is worked out on shipping address.

Have you bought one? What do you think? I really like the idea of collaborations and I hope there are more. I would love to see an Hermes/Moschino scarf. That would be fun - these are a bit too serious for my taste.

Huh. :shrugs: Clearly I am giving DSM too much credit! Sorry.
Anyhow, I do in fact have the Couvertures and the Quadridge color versions, and I really like them. They are a little "hard-edged," especially the Couvertures, but I like the irreverence of taking a classic, sedate design and sort of messing it up a bit. But that's me, and I do see how someone could feel that the two styles just don't mesh. Still, that's a benefit of Hermes--so many different sensibilities can find pleasing designs!

Mindi, the good thing about this site is it introduces me to things I wouldn't ordinarily consider and enables me to explore a wide range of opinions. However, I don't really have the strongest sense of my own style and if someone influential says they like something I am not sure about I just can't help myself and have to take a closer look.
So, as DSM haven't given me a returns number yet, I will unwrap the couvertures and take another look. Oh dear!
