If you got it from Balenciaga.com, then it is the real deal. You got it straight from Balenciaga. Bals can have metal engraved plates or just the leather tab inside the bag. I'm not sure if I'm totally accurate, but it seems the regular bigger bags First, City, PT etc have the metal plates. This is essential in helping to authenticate and identify the color/year of the bag. Smaller items like clutches only have the leather tab.

Don't worry. You have the real thing coming.

Thanks for your help. I can tell by how the leather feels, it's incredible! I had been looking at all these fakes on ebay that had metal plates and started getting nervous. But I got it straight from balenciaga.com so I am very assured now.

Congratulations !!! I looove ruby !! To me it's the best Bal red along with 2005 RT (and probably one of those 03 and 04 red, but I have never seen them IRL)

I have a Ruby flat cluth and a ruby mini mini and I have to control myself each time I see a ruby city available :D:D

Hey **S**! Congrats on getting a ruby First! How cute will that be on you!!! My newest should arrive today. it was delayed a day and then I wasn't going to be home yesterday, so they are finally supposed to deliver today. Ugh, the wait is atrocious.

Hey **B** heehee...I hear you on controlling yourself. I REALLY had to control myself with a Ruby City. The color was so enticing! I remember the FC you got. A beauty!!

Hello Bal Pals,

I won't be revealing my 2nd pop because I've already had to request the seller take it back and give me a refund. She listed it as NWT and it is DEFINITELY NOT new. The piping on the lower left corner was faded enough that I noticed it as soon as I pulled the bag out of the duster AND there were two strands of hair inside...one looked like animal hair (real crinkled like undercoat hair) and the other was human hair. NEW BAGS DON'T HAVE HAIR INSIDE!!!! UGH!!!!!:cursing:
